    How we could help your early stage business

    Nationwide was founded over 130 years ago, with the simple belief that we can achieve more together than we can alone.

    Our regional mentoring programme is all about bringing together existing businesses with those looking to establish while strengthening local support networks.

    Our programme runs for six months and Nationwide provides free space, a dedicated coach, access to monthly masterclasses on specific issues and resources to help your early stage business get off the ground.

    We are currently piloting this programme in Swindon & Northampton, following a successful initial trial in Swindon last year. Check out what the first two businesses we supported said about the programme here and if you'd like to apply just click the button below.

    Who should apply?

    We are looking to support organisations in Northampton & Swindon with great ideas, products or services, and a real appetite to develop these further.

    We would love to hear from organisations who;

    • Are in the process of establishing or have been trading for less than 18 months - this is all about supporting the next generation of businesses
    • Reflect our culture and values (we’re the UK’s largest mutual, and have a clear focus on doing the right thing for our members, our business and our local community)
    • Have an inspiring and scalable idea, product or service with a plan for development
    • Want to learn and move your business forward (we want to really help over the 6 month programme – can we help tackle your biggest barrier to growth?)
    • Have a business challenge or opportunity where the Society, our networks or partners can provide valuable support. Therefore, we are looking for organisations who complement our innovation & venturing themes (these are all around how we can help our members and society and are: House & Home, Personal Data & Identity, Financial Wellbeing, Banking as a Platform, Communities & Society, Operational Efficiency, and New Segments)
